Introduction
Unmask is a risk scanner for tokens traded on FOMO. Paste a Solana token address and you get a score from 0 to 100, the reasons behind it, and the on-chain evidence for each one.
Why it exists
On FOMO you can see what other traders buy, and their buys move prices. That makes it easy to follow someone into a coin without knowing who else holds it, how its launch went, or how those traders usually sell.
Most of that is public on the chain, but reading it takes several tools and some practice. Unmask reads it for you and checks every token against the same public standard, so a score means the same thing on every coin.
What a scan checks
Each scan looks at six signals:
- Contract and tech: whether anyone can still mint new tokens, freeze wallets, or tax and move your tokens.
- Block zero, snipers and bundles: who bought in the launch block and the blocks right after it, and how much they still hold.
- Insider concentration: how much the top holders and the dev control, with pools and burned tokens left out.
- Liquidity and exit slippage: how deep the pool is, whether the liquidity can be pulled, and how far the price would fall if big holders sold.
- Holder behaviour and sell pressure: which FOMO traders hold the token, and how they usually trade.
- Suspicious transfers: supply sitting in wallets that are linked to each other by token transfers.
How the score works covers the weights, grades and caps in detail.
Running a scan
- Copy the token's contract address (its mint address on Solana).
- Paste it into the scan box on the home page, or go straight to
unmaskfomo.io/scan/<address>. - Read the score first, then the reasons under it, then the details. Each finding links to the transactions or wallets behind it.
Scans use live data and usually take a few seconds. If you open the same token again within a minute, you'll see the same result.
Reading the results
- The score sums up the token, and higher is safer. Safer is 75 and above, Caution is 45 to 74, and High risk is below 45.
- Not checked means a check couldn't be read for this token. It earns no points, and the scan's Limited data note says which checks didn't run.
- Trader labels describe what a wallet's own trades show, such as "Sold half or more within 10 minutes on 6 of their last 8 trades", and link to those trades. They're descriptions, not accusations.
Unmask is independent and isn't affiliated with FOMO.
